Book Review: All About Deer
Rating:

This book is a very nice introduction to the life cycle, habits, and characteristics of deer in the Americas, illustrated in Arnosky’s detailed and realistic watercolors. Arnosky’s “All about…” series is excellent for the thirsty naturalist who soaks up information about the world. Nature books of this kind tend to proliferate and may not often be reread, so unless your reader has a particular interest in the animal, this may make a better public library read than a permanent addition to your library.

Imagination is like a muscle. It grows stronger when you flex it. And you must flex it. It does not usually put itself into action. It awaits the will. Imagination is also contagious. When you are around someone (alive or dead) who uses it a lot, you tend to catch it.
