Book Review: Alfie’s 1 2 3
Rating:

A very nice counting book, with illustrations and text just in line with the age of a child who can begin learning to count this high. Many of the illustrations are taken from familiar Alfie books, and the numbers are repeated with different scenarios. A very nice touch is that next to each letter in the corner of the page are the number of dots that correspond to the letter. Very methodical, but so nicely presented that it doesn’t quite feel like a teaching tool.

Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.
